Co-ordinating concerns regarding the proposed Tesco - or anybody's - MEGAshed 
and the current Goodman Application for the Andover Airfield

 Dear STOP! supporters

Tesco may have publicly withdrawn from the scene - or were they pushed? - but be warned we think they will be back.

STOP! believes this supposed 'split' between Goodman and Tesco is a scam - an attempt to get the Section 106 conditions watered down and to present Goodman as the good guys willing to comply with all the conditions.

In any event, a MEGAshed is still planned for the Airfield by Goodman - we still say NO to the Goodman plan as it includes a MEGAshed, no matter whose MEGAshed! It will be a blot on the landscape and a blight on all our lives.

The supposed benefits do not outweigh the negatives - the promise of jobs in nature and quantity will not materialise, and the £120 million investment into the community quoted by Goodman is a myth. 

And if - heaven forbid - one MEGAshed were ever to be built, what would we get? Another MEGAshed. No-one else will want to be located near it and developers will argue that as a similar building exists they can build another!

SO your active opposition is still needed, particularly because a group supporting the development and funded by Goodman has emerged.

Here's how YOU can help with the final push.

1.    Objection cards (attached) - fill in and return to TVBC Planning ASAP - and by Friday 28 November at the very latest.

2.    Send on this email to as many people as possible and encourage them to use the Cards.

3.    Order a supply of printed Objection Cards and take them to work, your neighbours, your clubs and get them into TVBC. Email  This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it with your address and phone number.

4.    Attend the 1st December Planning Control Meeting at The Lights. Bring all your friends, relations and neighbours!

Together we got the Plan rejected on 1st September - together we can get it rejected again on 1st December!
