In common with other villages in the Test Valley area, residents of Grateley have access to policing services from converted Ford Transit vans acting as mobile police stations. The high visablity vans, financed from the government's rural crime fighting fund, are identifiable by their livery sporting the Crimestoppers number, the Hampshire Constabulary single number and the force website address.

Offices are equipped with police radios and a mobile phone, with a direct link to the Force Enquiry Centre at Police Headquarters in Winchester, enabling faster crime recording. For more information about this service, see the relevant pages on the Hampshire Police web site.

The Mobile Police Station is available on the Second Thursday of each month at the following locations:

10:00-11:00  Station Stores (opposite Station Approach leading to Grateley Station)
11:15-12:15  Plough Inn, Monxton Road, Grateley
